The Trust Score is a heuristic, not a guarantee

ChainGuard's 0-100 Trust Score is calculated from a fixed set of on-chain signals (honeypot simulation, liquidity lock status, mint/freeze authority, holder concentration, bundle/sniper activity) and, optionally, social-sentiment signals. It reflects patterns that have historically correlated with rug pulls and scams in our research — it does not, and cannot, guarantee that a high-scoring token is safe or that a low-scoring token will fail.

New attack patterns emerge constantly. A token can score well and still be a scam that hasn't been caught by our checks yet, or exploit a mechanism we don't currently detect.

We are not your financial advisor

Nothing in ChainGuard — the Trust Score, the AI-written summary, the "Why — Top 3" reasons, the social sentiment verdict, or any other output — constitutes investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. We are not a registered investment advisor, broker, or dealer in any jurisdiction. Always do your own research and consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.

Third-party data accuracy

ChainGuard's checks depend on data from third parties (DexScreener, RugCheck, GoPlus, Helius, xAI/Grok, OpenAI, and on-chain RPC nodes). This data can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. We do not independently verify third-party data before displaying it to you.

Social sentiment is model-generated

The optional social/hype score and verdict are generated by a third-party AI model (Grok, via xAI's live X search) interpreting real posts it finds. AI-generated interpretation can be wrong, incomplete, or miss coordinated activity that doesn't match the patterns it looks for. Treat it as one input among several, not a final verdict.
